Synthesizer: A World of Music, Movement, and Community

Imagine walking down a bustling city street and suddenly coming across a modern building with a welcoming sign: Synthesizer – Where Music and Dreams Meet. As you step inside, an escalator takes you upward. From here, you get a panoramic view of the entire venue. It’s like an interactive amusement park for music lovers and adventure seekers. Black-and-white pathways lead to various zones filled with music, movement, and nostalgia.

At the starting area, friendly staff hand out numbers. “Everyone gets their own experience,” one of them explains. You notice even groups of friends and families are split up, ensuring each person has something unique to discover. You’re buzzing with anticipation.

The Journey Begins: Era Zones and the Soul of Music

Along a labyrinth-like path, you find shelves lined with vinyl records and CDs, organized by decade. From the funk and disco of the ’70s to the electronic beats of the ’90s, the collection is mesmerizing. You get to pick five albums to take to the next stop. Here, in a café with a dance floor, the staff plays tracks from your selection while others enjoy their own choices. The dance floor begins to fill, and the music transforms the space into a vibrant social hub.

Each era zone is a work of art. The ’80s zone glows with neon lights and old gaming consoles, while the ’70s zone exudes wood paneling and retro colors. Even the flooring and scents are designed to evoke memories.

Happening Stops: Playfulness and Movement

Along the way, you encounter different “happening stations.” One challenge invites you to run, jump onto a pole, and shoot a basketball into a hoop while being filmed. As you move forward, you see yourself on a screen displaying the “best performances of the day.” Another stop features a skateboard ramp and a mountain bike track where instructors give you quick tips before you try them out.

The Synth Lab: Creativity and Inspiration

Next up is a dream destination for music enthusiasts: the synth manufacturers’ zone. Brands like Moog, Roland, and Korg have installed their latest models here. To avoid wear and tear on the equipment, visitors play on MIDI controllers connected to the synths. Volunteers with “synth licenses” are on hand to guide you. It feels like a crash course in creativity, and you leave the zone with a melody in your head and a newfound love for sound.

The Guitar Workshop

Further down the path, you find Guitars, a space filled with the smell of wood and lacquer. Here, technicians fine-tune and adjust guitars while visitors try out electric guitars in small soundproof booths. One of the technicians, with 30 years of experience, explains how minor adjustments can make a big difference.

The Hangout Zone: A Gathering Place

The journey ends in a large, open area: The Hangout Zone. Here, everyone who has walked the path comes together to share experiences and perhaps dance to the music playing in the background. Several small stations encourage interaction, from drum circles to jam sessions. The atmosphere is electric and brimming with community spirit.

Synthesizer: A Place to Return To

Synthesizer isn’t just a place; it’s an experience that makes music and creativity feel alive again. With its unique mix of nostalgia and innovation, it’s a space where people come together, learn, and get inspired. As you walk out the doors, you see visitors of all ages – young people discovering synths for the first time and older folks rekindling their love for the music of their youth. You already know you’ll be back.
