Legacy X

Classic DNA, new fire.
Built to move, made to last.
This is not a revival, but a revolution.

Two fantastic new refill projects have been merged together and we are keeping busy making even more sounds. The price has been lowered and an upgrade option has been added. Like the song goes; what are you waiting for?

Crafted from the iconic WBF series, fused with the sounds of Lost In Music, rebuilt, reimaged. For those who don’t just play. For those who push. Built by Bitley. Made for now.

Upgrade from any previous Bitley refill. Intro offer during April: over 70% off for any previous Bitley refill owned.

Let us begin exploring

Legacy X is where we have reached a point where the focus on the Fairlight CMI from WBF R2 (available for Reason and Kontakt) continues to develop branches on its tree and we’re starting to combine sampling with synthesis. Sometimes the technologies are best on their own and sometimes when they are joined, combined or calculated to become one entity.

This patch in Legacy X refill was made on the Pongasoft / Mutable Instruments / Presteign Sound Labs rack extension Macro — Multi-model synthesizer
Here we have a Combinator patch where two Radical Piano modules are joined with the very experimental sampler Grain and it’s the same patch we used on the demo The Haunted Vessel

Specifications

2,5 Gb of samples & 1.200 brand new patches and 5,000 samples edited, recorded, carefully organized and programmed for Macro, Subtractor, Monotone, Ripley, Polytone, Thor, Malström, Radical piano, Scream, RV7000, PX7, PG8X, NN19, NNXT, Mimic, Ivoks, Grain, ReDrum, Korg Mono/Poly, Korg Polysix, Complex-One, ReDominator, Aurora, Europa and even more instruments.

Sound categories includes bass, EPs and keys, strings, polysynths, lead sounds, drums and effects. None of the sounds are reused from Fairlight XXL, Platinum, WBF R2 etc but Legacy X is complementing the previous work beautifully.

Made for Reason 13 and above. Should work just fine for Reason 12 and up. Previous versions: Combinators specificially may not work properly. Feel free to chime in and let us know.

Reason’s standard instruments are fully enough to enjoy the library; everything else is extra icing on the cake. For more info & demos please check the pages for wbfX and Lost in music.
