Way Beyond Fairlight Release Three has just been released and now a new journey begins
WBF R3 is here with 2,200 new patches. The deep Combinator 2 patches are at the top level sorted into easily navigated categories; FX Patches, Basses, Polysynths, Drums and more. Many sounds behave like instruments.
So what did we do to reach this point? To cut a long sample short we indeed relooped and resampled some cool sounds but we mainly made new ones. The sample library is now completely insane and on top of that everything was organized meticiously. After that work began with building new sounds in Grain, Mimic, PolyTone, Malström, and we organised all of that as well. With all components in shape work began building completely awesome Combinator patches.
Back when the forerunner WBF R2 was made, this work was based on the NNXT and the original Combinator. Since then we have seen a ton of news in Reason and all of that is now in use in WBF R3. We did not recycle anything from R2, but the stuff we ReCycle’d is now perfected so if you liked R2, prepare to Drop That Jaw!
We are prepared to have you guys measure WBF R3 against libraries costing 20 times as much. 50 times as much. Doesn’t matter. It completely holds its own class for beauty, inspiration, joy and experimentation. Begin with the free demo to just get a taster.

Option 1: Upgrade to WBF R3
Do not lose nor forget about the classical WBF R2. But R3 is a completely new journey fuelled by completely new Reason instruments. Impeccable sound and sample organisation, redesigned from scratch. The ability to update is temporary.
Option 2: Let this be your first Bitley refill
Go to the main page and get the demo first if you are curious — or get the entire sound library at once. You need Reason 13. Welcome!
Option 3: Reach the stars
Get a lion part of the Bitley work in one swell foop.
Deep content investigation: WBF R3 is the result of 15 years worth of sampling and programming based on the (magic of the) Fairlight CMI combined with a complete studio with a carefully selected choice of the analog and digital instruments we felt would have the most unique character compared to what software can offer. This includes multisamples of original analog machines like Korg Lambda, Roland Jupiter 4 and Prophet 5. Drum machines of all sorts. Digital instruments representing FM, additive and vector synthesis. The sample library consists of about 8,000 sorted and categorized samples. Furthermore it contains Reloopwork which is a collection of manually tweaked and relooped waveforms with all kinds of DSP processing applied. This forms the principal basis of the library. WBF R3 contains sounds and programming for, in no particular order; Europa, Malström, The Echo, NN-XT, Grain, Mimic, Monotone, Polytone, Subtractor, Thor, ReDrum, Dr OctoRex, Ripley, Scream, RV-7000, Combinator 2 and more.
