These are my patches provided to Clavia for the inclusion in the Nord Modular V3 update. I am not sure they included all of them so here they are in the concentrated form.

Funnily the Micro Modular was introduced as a monophonic modular synth, but I was determined to create polyphonic sounds on it so those are great starting points if you are like me, enjoying playing and sequencing chords. 😉

Nord Modular was a funny little thing. A stronge design, really, having no pitch bend and mod wheels. Clavia thought Modular users would rather control the synth with the knobs. But how would even the patch designer remember which knobs were assigned? It was a trial and error kind of thing. G2 was surely an improved design. 🙂 But the fact that they were not patch compatible has always bothered me.

Anyway, so the result of my idea proposal to Clavia was the Micro Modular. I had been communicating with them about the opportunity for a scaled down Modular. They thought my idea was interesting enough for a product. We had a product meeting where we discussed how it would look and feel.
