FAIRLY LIGHT
Bitley’s best Fairlight library, now available in four formats
FAIRLY LIGHT brings together the strongest parts of Bitley’s Fairlight work and makes them usable across today’s most common platforms. The entire library has been rebuilt and converted for NN-XT, Kontakt, Logic, and Ableton, so you can drop it straight into your workflow without translation or setup friction.
This is a 2GB collection with 1600 patches covering the full range of sounds you actually use. Drums, strings, basses, synths and textures are all included, with a focus on playability and immediate results rather than complexity.
If you already know the character and quality of Bitley’s Fairlight material, this is the most direct way to use it in your current setup. If you don’t, this is a clean entry point into the sampled sound that shaped the 1980’s pro music production.
PATCH LIST
Side Note: We delivered our sounds to Arturia’s Fairlight, to Roland Orzabal of Tears For Fears, to Dave Gamson of Scritti Politti and a lion part of all of the Reason users; we also made presets for Reason, Arturia, Rob Papen and more.
How-to: Placing files etc
It does not matter where you save these sounds. You just have to point them out to whichever software / sampler you’re using.

Ableton: Add the “ableton” folder, you can then browse for both Sampler patches and clean samples if you use Simpler or just want a very raw edgy vintage CMI feeling of loading samples, splashing some fx / filtering and move on with a cool sequence.

Logic: Use the Multi Sample sampler, after that you can browse to the patches and have them where you like, I keep mine In my Documents folder. You can import the raw samples directly if you would rather build up new patches.
>>> NOTE. There are a few conversion bugs among the patches even though the samples are flawless. This will of course be fixed asap without any extra charges. >>>
